As a result of the state border surveillance, control, preventing and combating illegal migration and cross-border crime activities, the Border Police officers registered several illegal actions within 24 hours:

 - 17 persons did not respect the regime of the border area and of the border crossing points;

- a foreign citizen has violated the term of residence on the territory of the Republic of Moldova;

- 14 drivers have violated the rules on the use of vignettes and the operation of vehicles;

- two violations of the rules on passenger transport;

- three people who had previously broken the law were detained following an information exchange with national law enforcement authorities.

A Moldovan citizen was not allowed entry into the European Union.

At the moment, at Criva, Vulcanesti and Mirnoe crossing points the traffic is hampered due to increased number of units, the average waiting time exceeding 30 minutes.

In order to support participants in cross-border traffic, the Border Police recommends passengers to use all the existing border crossing points in order not only to overload some of them and avoid the formation of queues. Also, before setting off, the drivers are recommended to consult the "TRAFFIC ONLINE" application on the official Border Police website, which shows the average waiting times at the crossing points for all categories of means of transport and, last but not least, to have a condescending attitude, patience and discipline, taking into account the rules of crossing the state border.
