Transgaz SA appreciates the accelerated pace in which Chisinau carries out the measures for completing the transaction through which Eurotransgaz will take over the Vestmoldtransgaz State Enterprise from the Republic of Moldova.

Support provided by the Moldovan Government and other authorities in Chisinau since the signing of the sale and purchase contract, combined with the sustained efforts of Eurodransgaz and Transgaz interdisciplinary teams, made it possible to approach the moment of finalization of the transaction, according to the timetable agreed by contract.

The complexity of the SE privatization process. Vestmoldtransgaz assumed considerable efforts and resources from both parties to prepare for the completion of this process, in line with the conditions set out in the privatization contract.

Considering that we are approaching the completion of the requirements whose fulfillment depends on the moment when Vestmoldtransgaz passes into the investor's property, SNTGN Transgaz SA and its subsidiary in the Republic of Moldova are ready to mark, in the first part of September, with their partners in Chisinau , this moment and the beginning of the SE reorganization process. Vestmoldtransgaz, so as to go without delay to the acquisition and construction stages according to the Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipeline project.

By signing the sale and purchase agreement of SE. Vestmoldtransgaz on 28 March 2018, between the Chisinau authorities and the S.R.L. Eurotransgaz, a subsidiary of SNTGN Transgaz SA, laid the foundations for one of the most significant development projects in the region, namely the construction of the Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipeline, which will contribute to ensuring the energy security of the Republic of Moldova.
