Investigators from Financial fraud and Anenii Noi Police Inspectorate have taken measure to prevent illegal meats, cold cuts and smoked meats being sold on the market.

Therefore, officers, along with National Agency for Food Safety employees have checked the activity of an enterprise from Anenii Noi, where in many breaches being found in terms of sanitary norms, transporting and storing pork. 

As a result, a stock of 1 580 kg (840 kg- pork bones, 192 kg - fat, 520 kg - pig legs, 30 kg - cold meats), which lacked expiration date, was confiscated.

The products were transported to ANSA subdivision from Anenii Noi, where they will be destroyed.

The products are worth in total close to 23 700 lei. People implicated in this case risks a fine to 15 000 lei.
