Firefighters were called to Vasile Lupu Street from Buiucani Sector of the Capital, after a building was engulfed in flames.

Arriving at the site the team established that the fire damaged the construction, while a 46-year-old man was poisoned due to smoke inhalation. They managed to extinguish the flames without it spreading, while the victim was handed to be attended by 903 Services. All circumstances are yet to be established.

Civil Protection and Emergency Service urges people to respect to respect fire safety and not leave heating sources unsupervised.
