An 11-year-old girl was hospitalized after she was hit by an English teacher. The stress triggered an asthma attack. The incident took place yesterday in the Lyceum from Sângereii Noi, Sângerei district. The child's mother submitted a letter to the police. She claimed that the teacher hit the child in front of her classmates, among whom counts the teacher's son.

"She was sitting at the desk, when she was suddenly grabbed by the hair and pulled. The girl wished to defend herself, grab the hand, but the teacher though she was fighting back and suddenly pushed and hit her. It resulted in the child's head slamming into the desk" pupil's mother, Elena Grigoriev said.

The teacher, who was actually replacing a colleague, claims that the girl was behaving spoiled and she snapped.

"She continued to ignore me, tried to intentionally anger me" Lyceum teacher from Sângereii Noi, Irina Vatamaniuc said,

The child suffers from asthma and had an attack.

"I found my child at the hospital in a bad shape. She could not breath" Elena Grigoriev declared.

At the moment, the child is supervised by doctors. According to them, the girl is in shock and will require psychological counseling.

"The child has headaches, dizziness, weakness, queasiness, sickness, had issues with balance" doctor Ana Curchi said.

The school's Administration and Education Department from the district have begun an investigation. Meanwhile, the teacher was suspended.

"We begun an investigation. Will analyze the situation and will take proper actions in the child's favor" director of "Alecu Russo" Lyceum, Valentina Caplinscaia said.

The case is investigated by the police.
