131 reports to public authorities are transferred through Unique Counter for electronic reports
The level of implementation of the Unique Counter, the problems faced by the economic agents and the solutions to overcome them were examined today at a meeting chaired by Premier Pavel Filip.
The Single Counter was launched on January 27, 2018 and is an on-line reporting platform. At present, 131 reports are sent to the governmental portal.gov.md to the public authorities: the State Tax Service, the National Social Insurance House, the National Health Insurance House, the National Bureau of Statistics and the Ministry of Finance.
Thus, economic agents and citizens save time and money in drafting and presenting reports, and the exchange of information between authorities is more effective. Currently, only 48 thousand citizens and over 57 thousand economic agents have access to the Single Reporting Desk. During the current year, 1 million 250,000 reports were submitted to the authorities through the Single Window, most of which were submitted by the economic agents.
At the same time, there are some problems - duplication of information, requesting information in parallel from the economic agents. To overcome these shortcomings, the prime minister ordered the creation of a working group led by the Secretariat of the Economic Council, who in the discussions to identify by mutual agreement the best solutions for overcoming the difficulties.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip has requested that the presentation of documents (reports, certificates, extracts), which are available in electronic format, by integrating this information into the MConnect platform, should be excluded by the end of the current Government's term. "Citizens and economic agents will no longer need to submit certificates from one institution to another and all the necessary information will be found in the electronic data base. We have all the created premises, we only have to ensure the interoperability of the system. If some institutions hold certificates, we will cancel the payment for them", said Pavel Filip.
