Social vulnerable families with children will gain material help to start off the school year. For this cause 10 million lei from the budget were allocated.

Material help will be offered through local social assistance foundations, which will, in their turn, decide the categories and amounts of help people will receive based on decisions made by the administration’s council.

Eligible children from social vulnerable families will be decided upon by the local education institution and commissions near the city halls, who will analyze the necessity of the material help.

In Chisinau 8.000 children will get material help in the amount of 700 lei, taken from the Chisinau’s social assistance foundation.

The total amount of approximatively 15.6 million lei will be allocated for this cause. In 2016 over 29 thousand of children from social vulnerable families received material help, in the total amount of 15 million lei.

People eligible for the material help from Chisinau will be able to claim their money from “Moldindconbank”, while other regions from the Post Office.
