18 tons of dill and parsley from Uzbekistan denied entry in Republic of Moldova
A truck filled with dill and parsley, was stopped from entering Republic of Moldova. National Inspectors from Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) have discovered that 18 tons imported from Uzbekistan were not properly documented.
Specialists decided to inspect the goods, having discovered that they boxes containing the plants were marked as "cigarettes".
ANSA inspectors have were informed of this case by employees from Tudora customs, Ştefan Vodă district.
