A 19-year-old young man form Râşcani district will spend the next 24 years behind bars for manslaughter. In April 2017, the man was visiting the victim, where they drunk alcohol with another two friends.
Later, the criminal punched the victim, electrocuted her with an electric cable and then strangled her.
The other two guests saw the incident, but did not interfere at the time, causing the victim to pass away in her house due to the grave injuries.
The 19-year-old suspect was sentenced to 20 years for murder, but because he was recently condemned for bodily harm, the sentence rose to 24 years.
The other two men were jailed to 2 years each for not assisting the victim.
At the same time, all three men will have to pay to the victim's family 250 000 lei as moral damages.
The sentence can be appealed.
