20 new indicators appeared in Capital. These show the direction to the main institutions of Chisinau
The Capital City Hall wants to promote the main touristic attractions from Chisinau. This is why, the authorities installed 20 out of 23 touristic indicators. These show the directions to the historical buildings and the state institutions.
One of the indicators is placed at the intersection between Mihai Eminescu and Stefan cel Mare streets. This urges the tourists to visit Inglezi house, Serghei Lunchevici National Philharmonic, the Central Cemetery, the Court of Accounts and so on.
"The indicators show the way to 71 buildings from Chisinau. The messages are written in many languages. For example, it is about an Armenian church, then the languages on the indicator will be the following ones: Armenian, English or French, Romanian", said Ion Burdiumov, director of the communal Direction.
The foreigners think that the indicators are very useful.
"It is very good that these have been installed. It will be easier for the tourists."
Not only the guests, but also the Capital residents appreciate this initiative.
"This is a very good idea. The people who come in Chisinau will find the places that interest them easier."
The project's value is over 24.000 Euro. 13.000 of this was offered by the European Council.
