A potential independent candidate has been rejected by constituency council.

Iurie Apostolachi, former PLDM deputy collected over one thousand signatures and only 29 among these have been declared valid.

The employees of No.48 Electoral Council from the left bank of Nistru found out that in 21 out of 35 lists the data was written by one person.

Moreover, one of the signatures are fake. Apostolachi says that he didn't commit any encroaches. He will complain to the Central Electoral Commission.

"I will complain to CEC. I don't want to comment this situation", said Iurie Apostolachi, former PLDM deputy.

CEC has already received ten complaints and over 160 candidates have been registered. The candidates can register until January 24.
