22 district hospitals and health centers from Moldova to be repaired on public money
22 hospitals from districts and country will be repaired on public money. The cost will be covered by the National Company for Allowances in Medicine. The institutions have been already chosen. Among the winners there are two villages from Nisporeni district, Cristesti and Boltun.
In Cristesti, the doctor comes twice a week and the conditions don't fit the standards.
"It doesn't have a heating system, sewerage. We are used to these conditions, but we need better ones. We hope that the young specialists will come here if the conditions are better", said Carolona Matasaru, family doctor.
The nurses hope that they will benefit of better conditions soon.
"We are glad that soon we will benefit of better conditions", said Angela Bulat, nurse from Cristise.
"The building is old and it is in desperate need of repair. We are glad that this project will be implemented in our village", said Eugenia Leahu, nurse from Boltun.
The projects have been applied to Nisporeni Health Center.
"Due to these projects we will improve the quality of the medical service", said Vera Tabacaru, chief of Nisporeni Health Center.
The projects can be funded due to some modification in the legislation.
"I would like to mention that during the year there was a rectification of the law on funds and so in the fund for the development and modernization of the healthcare providers was also allocated the amount of 10 million", said Daniel Stici, the vice director of CNAM.
To renovate the Cristesti medical center, 300 thousand lei were allocated. 200 thousand more is the contribution of the District Council. Boltun village received a funding worth 500 thousand lei. The local authorities will contribute with 150 thousand each.
