A 25-year-old man from Briceni  was sentenced to 4 years and 8 months for drug trafficking. Additionally, prosecutors confiscated his goods and results of the criminal activity, namely his car, cell phone and 635 lei.

According to prosecutors, in September 2017, the suspect used the car to travel around the district, where he sold 0.282 grams of drugs to a person. He was later arrested on the same day. During searches, officers found in his car 7 753 grams of hallucinogens.

The man confessed during questionings. The sentence can be appealed.
