This year, the authorities want to repair 2600 kilometers of roads. 50% of the works will be covered by foreign funds and the rest by state allocations.

Thus, Chisinau-Cimislia-Comrat-Giurgiulesti road will be repaired. In spring, Porumbeni-Cimislia road will be repaired. The costs reach 29 million Euro. The money will be allocated by the European Bank for Investments. The by pass road of Comrat will also be repaired. It will cost 30 million Euro. 

"We will repair2600 the road that leads from Giurgiulesti to Chisinau, because it is very important for the national traffic", said Anatol Usatii, state secretary at the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure.

Among the regional roads that will be repaired there is also Balti-Falesti-Sculeni road that has a 50 kilometers length. The cost reached over 60 million Euro.

Also, the "Goods roads" project will be continued. The mayors will chose the roads that will be repaired.

"We are waiting for the district councils to decide on the roads that they want to repair", said Anatol Usatii.

The previous year, 1600 kilometers of road will be repaired within Good Roads for Moldova project. The state invested 1,9 billion lei. The project of this year will be called "Good roads 2". The both projects have been launched at the initiative of Vlad Plahotniuc.
