Today the ministers have approved the Action plan for 2016-2020. It anticipates the implementation of Child Protection Strategy.

The planned actions are concentrated on prevention of family separation and children institutionalization, violence prevention and control, children exploitation, promotion of a good family life and professional activity in order to ensure the child’s life in harmony.

For this, specialized subdivisions will be created within the territorial structures of Social Assistance, their capacities will be consolidated through the professionalization of staff and implementation of IT modules on “child protection” component, for a better management of each case and efficient monitoring of tutelary activity.

Also, the normative framework will be improved for the prevention and control of corruption in the adoption procedure, on social performances given to children left without parental care, families with children, organization of education and specialized support services for children with disabilities.

The action plan also provides the creation of a day center for early care (0.4 – 1.5 years old), and special services of early intervention for kids (0 – 3 years old), support services for kids with behavior problems, for street kids, recuperation services of a kid, victim of violence, traffic, exploitation etc.

The main objective of the Action Plan is the decrease of number of children from institutions, decrease of risks associated with families of immigrants and insurance of a familial and social environment fit for the child’s harmonious development.
