Moldova is too small to pick with which world power wants to cooperate or not. This is the opinion of first deputy president of PDM, Vlad Plahotniuc, and was expressed during an interview for newspaper Timpul.

The first deputy director of PDM also said that the citizens have to feel free, and the political parties do not have the right to enforce them specific ideas or directions.

"I am following the subject linked with the larger partition in the society, promoted mostly by the political parties desperate to ensure their votes, not counting if these parties are from an extreme or another. I consider that all people have to feel free in our country, to be how they want, to believe in what and who they want, the parties do not have to enforce what to feel and to believe in what is convenient for these parties", said Vlad Plahotniuc.

Plahotniuc also said that Moldova has a lot to learn from both Russian people and citizens from European countries and from USA. And in order to improve, we have to be pragmatic and friendly with everyone.

"We are not so different and divided as we seem, but we have to wake up and to not allow the manipulation of people and the forceful attribution to one party or another. I grew up near Prut river, with a very close childhood relation with Romania, but I feel close with both Romanian people and Russian people, I find in each of them the good things they have, the same as I see the good models that we can absorb from European countries or USA citizens. From all of them we have something good to take over, and it is in our interest to think and act this way. Let’s be realist, we are too small to be picky, to choose between the biggest world powers with which we want to cooperate or not. We have to be pragmatic and friendly" also said Vlad Plahotniuc.
