A little girl from southern Cantemir district has been rescued by a team of Moldovan doctors who removed a brain tumor from her in a complex surgery.

The intervention was done earlier this week by six surgeons and lasted four hours.

"The surgery has been carried out with a high-performance microscope, which eased a lot the doctors’ work. 95% of the tumor was removed. The child has come to life shortly after, is conscious and with her parents,” said doctor Grigore Zapuhlîh, quoted by e-medicina.md.
