Moldova will sign an agreement with International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The assurance was given by the prime minister Pavel Filip, who had a media briefing together with chief of IMF mission, Ivanna Vladkova-Hollar.

“Thank you for the trust and all effort given. It is only the beginning. We are thankful that we obtained what we could obtain at this stage: to approve an agreement. If until now I was saying that I am optimist, today I can strongly declare that we will have a program, because the subjects are of technical nature. Money are important, but they are secondary. The main subject are the reforms coordinated with IMF. We will do everything we agreed on. These measures will lead to the economic strength of the country” has declared Pavel Filip.

Optimistic declarations were given also by the chief of International Monetary Fund Mission.

“Were done significant progresses in order for the agreement to be signed. The negotiated conditions in Chisinau will be analyzed in Washington” has declared Ivanna Vladkova-Hollar.

PUBLIKA.MD reminds that the prime minister Pavel Filip has previously declared that the launching of the new program with International Monetary Fund is one of the Government’s priorities.
