Andrian Candu and Prime Minister Filip, on roadmap implementation: Moldova has strong development perspective
Parliament Speaker Adrian Candu and Prime Minister Pavel Filip presented today the joint report on the progress of the roadmap. The document sets out the priorities of the two institutions on the Association Agreement with the EU.
According to the head of the parliament 74 points out of 82 were accomplished, 8 of which have lasting permanent.
"I am very pleased to present the progress report on the roadmap. It was a consolidated effort and a good tool to mobilize the roadmap. We will focus on reforms and aim to continue the improving of lives of citizens of Moldova in fall. We have great achievements, but we still have much to do for our citizens, but the most important is that we already have stability in the country", said Candu.
The Premier, Pavel Filip said that Moldova has a strong development perspective.
"We are responsible for the governance of Moldova, I still remember the difficult time we had in the country. I understand with certainty that it was a period of crisis, of lack of trust, but we need to be confident. The most important goal was to recover the confidence of the citizens and foreign partners. And we succeed. The goal was to bring Moldova again in the investment sector and to cooperate with civil society. For 5 months we tried to accomplish everything we had in the roadmap. We succeeded with 74 points out of 82. We are pleased with the progress of the roadmap. we managed to get an agreement with the IMF and improve the business. Romania will release a loan of 50 million euros", said Filip.
