General Director of the Customs Service, Vitalie Vrabie decided today the dismissal of the Head of the Prosecution Department. The decision was taken as a result of evaluation of subdivision activity conducted by it and announced at a meeting held with whole entity.

The results of the evaluation revealed a low level of performance indicators, and a number of procedural violations, including delay in enforcing the prosecution of several number of detected offenses, and the lack of cooperation with law prosecution and other competent services of the Customs Service.
