Happy anniversary, Republic of Moldova! It is the congratulatory message of the first deputy president of the Democratic Party, Vlad Plahotniuc, for the celebration of 25 years of independence of Moldova.

“Exactly 25 years ago, in Chisinau the history was written. The Moldovan people requested their right to have their country, and Moldova was declared an independent and sovereign country.

For me and those from my generation, was an amazing moment, the climactic moment of the movement of national awakening started at the end of 80’s.

I advise you to celebrate the day of 27 august, to love our country and to have faith in its future” mentioned Vlad Plahotniuc in a message posted on his Facebook page.
