Exceptional Independence Day concert for classical music lovers
Classical music lovers will experience an exceptional concert this evening, dedicated to the Independence Day.
The show will be staged by over one hundred young musicians from Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Switzerland, Belarus and the Netherlands. The event, organized by the Moldovan National Youth Orchestra, will begin at 19:00 at the Republican Palace.
Young people are rehearsing eight hours a day to impress the audience.
"Young musicians are gathering from all Eastern Europe and you will see such an orchestra as rarely see. On Sunday you will see something impressive" , said violinist, Tudor Dârţă.
"It is very hard at rehearsals if you endeavor remarkable successes" , said Dan Bruma, violinist.
Young people say they enjoy a unique experience because they are working with talented musicians from different countries: "This project is very important, including the fact that we are working with a new conductor, get new knowledge and you perfect the way you play."
The hundred young musicians from six countries will also perform with the soprano singer Valentina Nafornita and Romanian conductor Gabriel Bebeşelea.
"Several works will be interpreted. We'll open the concert with Vainberg, rhapsody on Moldovan themes, work unfortunately unknown here. Then the seven George Ionescu songs with Valentina Naforniţă and we will close with Titan symphony by Gustav Maler" , said Gabriel Bebeşelea.
"I plead for such concerts and opportunities that arise in our country and so I am very glad that appear. I remember two years ago when I worked with them, I was pleasantly surprised to see they accompanied me very well" , said soprano singer Valentina Naforniţă.
The concerts in this year's National Youth Orchestra Moldovan are organized with the support of the Vlad Plahotniuc's "Edelweiss"foundation. The performances are supported by the Ministry of Youth, Minsitry of Culture, US Embassy in Moldova and the Romanian Cultural Institute in Chisinau "Mihai Eminescu".
