The Romanian book fair Bookfest comes to Moldova. For the first time, during the 25^th edition of the International Book Exhibition from Chisinau, the book lovers will have access to many Romanian books and will meet Romanian writers.

44 publishing houses and over 7,000 new titles. These are the attractions of the Bookfest fair.

The minister of Culture, Monica Babuc, says that the event has a double significance.

“The International Book Exhibition has a double significance, dedicated to the anniversary of 25 years of independence and a step through which we want to show the pro-European vision of the culture industry, of the creative industry in Moldova. This year, the International Book Exhibition Bookfest will take place from 31 August until 4 September 2016” said the minister of Culture, Monica Babuc.

The books lovers will have the opportunity to talk to Romanian and Moldovan writers.

The International Book Exhibition Bookfest Chisinau will take place in the period of 31 August – 4 September 2016, between 10:00 and 20:00.

After the fair ends, the National Library will receive 3,000 books as a gift, 2,000 from which are offered by the Romanian publishing houses.
