Romanian Language Day will be celebrated in entire country
The Day of Romanian Language is celebrated today, 31 august 2016, in all localities of Moldova. The festivities will start at 10:00 with flowers at the monument of Stephen the Great and at the busts of writers on the Alley of Classics.
Afterwards in the Public Garden in the center of Chisinau will be given an homage to Romanian language through recitals of music and poetry, and through exhibitions of handicraft. The evening will be filled with music in the National Assembly Square. There will be organized a musical battle between Symphonic Orchestra conducted by Dumitru Carciumaru, the orchestra of brothers Advahov and Alex Calancea’s band.
The artists will play famous compositions of Vivaldi, Paganini, and of Mihai Dolgan, Ion and Petru Aldea-Teodorovici and Anatol Dumitras. At the concert will perform the maestri Eugen Doga, Stefan Petrache, Anatol Chiriac and Lidia Botezatu.
