Romanian Language Day celebrated in Chisinau
The Romanian Language Day was celebrated last night in downtown. People came from different corners of the country to the concert on National Square. They danced and enjoyed what organizers arranged.
Pleople that came to downtown Chisinau were very pleased.
People say that the Romanian Language Day is a soul feast.
Folk music alternated with the light at the Romanian language concert.
Artists who have performed on stage say that August 31 is a special day for all those who respect their mother language.
"It's good to know French, English, Spanish, Italian, but we must not forget to learn our language which is Romanian" , said artist Adrian Ursu.
"Congratulations to all our country and those all those who speak Romanian. I am very glad with this extraordinary feast", said singer Igor Cuciuc.
National Square concert dedicated to Romanian Language Day lasted until almost midnight.
