Valeriu Ghiletchi: Students should have the possibility to vote in localities they are studying
The non-affiliated deputy Valeriu Ghiletchi wants for students to vote in the locality they are studying.
In this regard the politician has presented a legislative initiative for the change of Electoral Code.
At the parliamentary elections which took place 3 years ago, their right to vote in the locality they are studying has not been included.
Now, with the last changes made in the Electoral Code, their right to vote in the locality they are studying has been included.
According to Valeriu Ghiletchi, it is important for young people to offer the possibility to participate to presidential elections, because over 100,000 students with the right to vote are studying in localities different from their place of residence.
