Nike is turning your Back to the Future dreams into reality. In 2011, the company released the Nike Air Mag, a play off Michael J. Fox's kicks from the iconic movie. They lit up but didn't do much else. A follow-up version was announced last year featuring power lacing and hit shelves Spring 2016.

Though quite the throwback aesthetic, Air Mags are clunky and not all that great for performance. To bridge the gap as well as piggyback off of their power lacing technology, Nike unveiled the HyperAdapt 1.0—self-lacing shoes that adapt to your foot.
