For some, the walnut business is a real money-making factory. In Moldova, the climate is perfect for cultivating walnuts, and the trees even grow along roads.

A kilogram of walnut kernel is about 150 lei ($7.7.) As the domestic demand is not so high, the Moldovan walnuts are largely exported.
