CEC: Moldovans from abroad with expired passports to be able to vote
Moldovans from abroad who have expired passports will be able to vote in the elections of October 30th. A decision to this effect was taken today by the Central Elections Commission members. In total, over 409,000 Moldovans have expired passports.
Over three million ballots will be printed for the presidential elections. Citizens of our country who are established abroad may express their choice in the elections in 100 polling stations that will be opened abroad.
We recall that 12 candidates have registered in the presidential race.
