"If Igor Dodon wins the election, he will divert European course and will turn Moldova in a federation"
If Igor Dodon wins the election, he will divert the country's European course and will turn Moldova into a federation. The statement was made by the director of the Da Vinci analytical group, Anatolii Baronin.
The analyst argues that if Dodon will become president, he will implement the plan of federalization of Moldova's European course and will begin negotiations for integration into the Eurasian Customs Union.
According to the expert, the Socialist leader intends to grant favored status to Transnistrian region in the federal state and allow Russia to increase its military presence in the region.
In this context, the analyst believes that Russian soldiers could become a threat for Ukraine and Romania. Earlier, the candidate to the post of chairman of the Democratic Party, Marian Lupu, said Dodon is the main threat to the Republic of Moldova.
