Election show: Socialists have presented Top 10 lies told by Maia Sandu
Only few days before the second round of presidential elections, the Socialists have presented a Top 10 list of lies told by Maia Sandu, the opponent of Igor Dodon. In this regard, the PSRM representatives have found the PAS candidate's statements about voting for the granting of state guarantees to cover fraud in the banking system, campaign finance, the ties between Maia Sandu and the Liberal Democratic Party and its former leader, Vlad Filat.
According Socialists, Maia Sandu lied when she said she has nothing to do with the PLDM party, saying it was not a party member.
"Maia Sandu's declaration that she was never a PLDM party member. The person that was in the electoral lists of the PLDM. The person who for the past seven years, three times was part of the Government. The person voted many wrongdoing laws. This person had the shame to declare today that she was never a part of the PLDM party" , said PSRM deputy Vlad Batrancea.
Another lie told by Maia Sandu, according to the Socialists, refers to the fact that she is not involved in the theft of the banking system.
"Until the transcript of the Government session of March 27th was presented, where the allocation of 5.4 billion lei was decided. The beautiful lady Maia Sandu raises her hand and votes. The fact is confirmed by the secret document. After being caught lying, she said she was saving the depositors, pensioners and the elderly "said deputy PSRM, Bogdan Ţîrdea.
Moreover, the Socialists accuse PAS candidate of an unclear campaign. They say that the money used by Maia Sandu to build her electoral strategy came from stealing the banking system. She would have paid outsiders to work for her, from these resources.
"Today, Maia Sandu's campaign costs tens of millions just like in 2014. Thousands of people come to Moldova only because of social networks. Ms. Maia Sandu is working again from non-transparent sources " , said PSRM deputy Vlad Batrancea.
Tomorrow, the socialists will present a top list of manipulations made by PAS candidate, Maia Sandu. The former education minister has not responded yet to the charges presented.
