Moldovans to benefit from investments in "1+1" funding program

Moldovans who intend to develop businesses with money earned abroad will receive another 31 investment projects financed under the "1+1" Program. Six million lei will be allocated for this purpose, which will help to attract 17 million lei into the national economy.
According to the Organization for Development of Small and Medium Enterprises, every third project initiated by Moldovans working abroad, was accepted for funding, and the remaining businesses are developed by their relatives.
However, 20 projects are being launched by young people which will help create 130 jobs.
Businesses are open mainly in agriculture, services and manufacturing.
From early in the program, another 114 projects have received funding worth over 22 million lei.
