Moldovan farmers mark professional day on last Sunday of November
Moldovan farmers gathered in Chisinau yesterday to mark their professional day.
In their speeches they said agriculture could really gain profits, but investments were necessary. However many say farming is not just business, it’s passion, too.
The government offers them support to achieve high performance.
"This year we have managed scores of things to back up agriculture. Funding projects as Moldova’s Orchard, competitive agriculture and a series of facilities as the possibility to directly import diesel fuel or access to irrigating waters," said Prime Minister Pavel Filip, who attended the reunion.
"I think it’s a success both for Government and the Agricutlure Ministry that we started to pay off the subsidies for 2016," said Minister Eduard Grama.
The Moldovan farmers mark their professional day, on the last Sunday of November.
