1.5 billion lei, RETURNED from the robbed banks

Over MDL1.5 bn have been recuperated from selling the assets of the three failed banks.
The money was returned before January 1 and is 100 million lei more than in November.
The state got MDL700 mn from selling the assets of Banca de Economii, Unibank and Banca Sociala, as MDL870 mn were recuperated from the emergency loan of 13.5 bn provided to the failed banks by the National Bank, the Finance Ministry informs on its web page.
