The NGOs should have new mechanisms for funding in order for the state to guarantee their financial security. 

This conclusion was reached by the working group on the review of the Civil Society Development Strategy for the years 2017-2020.

According to experts, the existing mechanisms contain many loopholes and financing of NGOs by the state must be transparent so as not to arouse suspicion. The members of the working group hope that the future strategy will eliminate these problems and will include funding programs for organizations in regional centers and rural areas.

The document will be finalized by the end of February and will subsequently transmitted to the Government and Parliament.
