Man searched internationally caught at border crossing point
Border police of the Albita border crossing point discovered and handed over to the competent authorities a young man with Romanian and Moldovan citizenships.
Searched internationally, on the name of the man was issued a warning for the implementation of an arrest and surrender or extradition warrant issued by authorities in Italy and Romania.
The person, a passenger aged 27, in a minibus registered in Moldova, Igor C., with Romanian and Moldovan citizenship, presented at the Albita border crossing point, Vaslui county, for all necessary formalities for crossing the state border.
At border control, workers have found that on the young man's name was issued a warning of implementing a warrant for arrest and surrender or extradition issued by authorities in Italy and Romania.
He had to serve a custodial sentence for offenses against private property, committed in Italy.
The person in question was handed to an operational team within the Criminal Investigation Service of I.P.J. Vaslui, in order to take necessary measures.
