The data has been deduced by Magenta Consulting from information made available by the National Statistics Bureau.

In 2000 there were 220,000 spectators and their number reached 415,000 in 2015.

In 2000, 1,500 plays were played and the most recent data show their number to be 3,000.

There were 13 theaters in Moldova and now there are 16.
