Over  1.6 bn lei have been recuperated from those three banks gone bankrupt.

The amount has been returned by 1 February and is 100 million lei more than it was by the beginning of January.

According to the data on the Finance Ministry’s page, the state has got 700 mn lei from selling the assets of Banca de Economii, Unibank and Banca Sociala.

Over 900 mn lei were recuperated from the emergency loan worth 13.5 bn lei offered by the National Bank to the failed banks.
