Anti-smoking law is likely to be relaxed, at restaurant owners' request

After 10 months of restrictions for smokers and thousands of fines, there are odds that the anti-smoking law should be relaxed.
Representatives of bars and restaurants insist that smoking should be allowed at the entrance in the building and that closed smoking rooms should be allowed.
The requests were discussed at a sitting hosted by the Government, but the Healthcare Ministries is stubborn in asserting there may be no yielding.
"Everything should be clarified. How to measure these 10 meters from the building," said PDM parliamentarian Valentina Buliga.
Now smoking is allowed only on open terraces, positioned at least 10 meters from the entrance into the restaurant, and at home.
