A gynecologist from the northern town of Bălţi has been sentenced to two years in prison for negligence at work. 

Prosecutors have proved that later in 2012 he allowed the discharge of a female patient, who later died after a surgery.

In another case, the physician failed to correctly diagnose a female patient, what led to her giving birth to a dead baby.

The indicted does not plead as guilty and the sentence may be sued.
