Although being freed from house yesterday, Orhei town mayor Ilan Şor has not turn up to his job because of health problems. The mayor felt bad yesterday during the court session. 

According to his spokeswoman Alina Şargu, the mayor has heart problems and needed medical assistance last night.

Ilan Şor is indicted with swindling and money laundering in a file concerning the fraud at BEM, Banca Socială and Unibank.

After staying a year under house arrest, he has been sentenced to 7.5 years of prison.

He is now under judiciary control, until his cause is dealt with by the Appeals Court.
