The EU will continue to support the European path of the Republic of Moldova. This was the statement released by EU Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy & Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn at the meeting with Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip.

The European official encouraged the authorities to continue implementing reforms to deliver tangible results on the citizens' living standard.

 

Accordingly, the Prime Minister welcomed the European high official's participation at the Eastern Partnership ministerial meeting , hosted by Chisinau, as an European green signal. 

The officials also exchanged views on the draft amendment regarding Moldovan electoral system.
