The new structure of the Government was approved today by the Parliament plenum with the vote of 54 deputies.

Hence, only 9 remain from 16 ministries, some of them have been merged. The executive structure was presented by the prime minister, Pavel Filip, who said that this would reduce annually expenditure by almost 77 million lei.

Pavel Filip said that position reduction is estimated by 30 per cent.

The Executive Head assured the new Government - a future technocrat, will not be affected by political confrontations.

"This reform is one of the most important reform agenda we have, because it represents the basis for the further development of the Republic of Moldova" add prime minister.
