Moldovan Court OPPOSES president Dodon's referendum

The Constitutional Court today announced that the consultative referendum initiated by President Igor Dodon did not correspond to Supreme Law.
Likewise, the Supreme Court announced that "the President of the Republic of Moldova does not dispose with the right to amend the Constitution".
Moldovan president initiated the consultative referendum on four topics: the abolition of law stipulating public debt transfer to three banks, the deputies reduction in Parliament from 101 to 71 and the introduction of Moldovan history in schools.
Accordingly, 75 million lei was in need of allocation.
Igor Dodon still requires power to dissolve Parliament.
Concerning the decree signed by Dodon, the referendum would be organized on September 24th.
