According to the National Bank of Moldova, more and more of Moldovans working abroad, are sending money home. Only in July, the transferred money amounts to 105 million dollars. This sum is by 8,4 % more than it was at the same time last year.

Most of the money came from the Russian Federation, a total of 37,18 million dollars. Yet it is 3,8 million dollars less than it was at the same time last year.

From Israel a total of nearly 16 million dollars were transferred, while from Italy nearly 13 million dollars.

Our citizens working in the United States of America, have sent home a little over 8 million dollars.
