Two men, residents from Chișinău and Stăuceni, aging 28-year-old and 32-year-old, are investigated on suspicion of blackmail. 

According to the police, the two suspects threatened a citizen from Chișinău to create trouble in the construction company he is managing, therefore they illegally came in the possession of 50.000 lei. 

First time they blackmailed the man with 30.000 lei and got away with both the crime and the money. Later on the two man decided the try again, only this time demanding 20.000 lei, but were caught by the police when they came out to meet the manager for the money. 

After searching their homes and vehicles of the two suspects, the officers managed to find the cash.

A case was opened on this mater and the two men now risk to spend the next 5 to 7 years behind bars, or pay a fine between 42.500 and 67.500 lei.
