Moldova to deepen cooperation with Ukraine on protection of Nistru river
The Government of the Republic of Moldova has approved the national plan for protection of water resources of the Dniester/Nistru River for the period until 2022.
An Ukrinform correspondent reported from Moldova.
According to the press service of the Moldovan government, the plan envisages the creation of the Lower Dniester National Park, as well as the deepening of cooperation with Ukraine in the field of protection of the river's water resources.
Financial resources necessary for the practical implementation of the plan will be allocated both from the state budget of Moldova and from European funds intended for the environmental protection.
