A citizen of the Capital was caught for hiding a ton of ethanol in hay.

The man was stopped at the Hâncești – Cimișlia road, at the exit of Bozieni village.

The 1056 bottles are worth around 80.000 lei.

The suspect neither could prove any origin documents for the alcohol, nor stated what he wished to do with it.

The products were seized and passed for a forensic investigation in order to establish the quality. If found guilty the man risks 3 to 10 years of jail time.
