The National Commission of Financial Market applied a new method to calculate fees for a Green Card Insurance and Compulsory Insurance of Civil Liability.

Now vehicle owners will have to pay 760 lei for Compulsory Insurance of Civil Liability, with 25 lei more than it used to be. 

The price of a Green Card Insurance has also increased. Depending on where people wish to travel the feel rose by 70 lei to 400 lei. Those traveling to Ukraine or Belarus will have to pay 38 euro, with 3 euro more than it used to be.

More expensive will be a car trip to Russia, where the insurance will cost 260 euro, with 45 euro more than before. 

People who now wish to travel to Europe on their car will have to pay 580 Euro for insurance per year.
