Committee for culture, education, and youth of the Parliament has begun today examining the case of a businessman sexually abusing a middle school pupil from the Capital.
The hearings will be attended by representatives from Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health and Social Welfare and Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as experts from the field. This case was revealed to the public last week.
According to prosecutors, the child was introduced to the entrepreneur by his boarding school's director. The suspect has supposedly rented an apartment and lured the child into living together.
The harasser and school director now each risks 20 years of imprisonment, or even life sentences.
